Therapy Pricing
Clear, straightforward pricing for assessment, therapy and ongoing support.
Every child’s needs are different, so the type and amount of support required will vary. Before arranging an assessment or therapy, I offer a free, 15 minute initial telephone consultation where we can discuss your concerns and the most appropriate next step for your child.
There’s no obligation to proceed following your initial conversation.
Initial assessment
£100 per hour
An initial assessment helps me understand your concerns, your child’s individual strengths, difficulties and the support they may need.
Assessments usually last between one and two hours, depending on your child and the reason for the assessment. This may include taking a detailed background history, formal assessment where appropriate, and more informal assessment through observation, play and conversation.
For eating, drinking or swallowing concerns, assessment will involve a telephone call to gather background information, followed by observation of your child eating and drinking if necessary.
After assessment, I will discuss my findings with you and explain any recommendations or options for further support.
Therapy and intervention
£100 per hour
Therapy is tailored to your child rather than following a fixed programme or number of sessions.
Therapy may include:

One-to-one play-based early language sessions

Speech sound therapy

Feeding and weaning support

Sensory-based food desensitisation

Individual activities and programmes

Advice for parents/carers

Targets and strategies for home, nursery or school

Ongoing review and support
It's impossible to say how many sessions each child will need. However I will try to give you as accurate an idea as possible, and will constantly review your child's progress and work with you to provide what they need.
I will also always let you know when they no longer need my support.
Reports, programmes and written information
£80 per hour
Written information can be provided where required, including reports, therapy targets and programmes.
The amount of time required will depend on the type and level of information needed. I can discuss this with you beforehand so you know what to expect.
Travel costs
I’m based in Altrincham and offer face to face appointments at home, nursery, preschool, school or another suitable setting. Travel is charged at £80 per hour, one way only, after the first five miles.
I will discuss any applicable travel costs with you before your appointment.
Online/telephone Speech and Language Therapy sessions are also available where appropriate, or you can visit me at my home in Altrincham.
What will my child's therapy cost?
Because every child is different, it isn't always possible to give an overall cost for therapy at the beginning.
Some children may only need an assessment and advice, while others benefit from a period of regular therapy and ongoing review. My current service model specifically allows the frequency and duration of therapy to be adapted rather than limiting children to predetermined treatment blocks.
I'll discuss recommendations with you following assessment so you can understand the options available before deciding how you'd like to proceed.
